Sabakiball is a competitive and athletic team sport for all ages making it the ideal sport for schools, parks and recreation, and other youth programs. Adult facilities that are looking to promote team building, bonding and cooperation benefit from Sabakiball too such as military bases, prisons, and fire/police departments, to name a few.
Institutions and coordinators incorporating Sabakiball into its programs benefits in many ways! This co-ed sport is designed for all genders to play safely and competitively together, allowing institutions to comply with Title IX simply by incorporating Sabakiball into its curriculum. Sabakiball is a non-contact sport which makes it a great concussion prevention activity without sacrificing the fast pace, fun game play or competitive atmosphere. Each period of play is non-stop and action-packed making it inclusive for all skill levels, athletic experiences, and player positions. The equipment is lightweight, easy to set up, and for indoor/outdoor use. Sabakiball has simple rules for coaches, teachers, referees and players to learn quickly and effectively. This new sport promotes teamwork, teaches cooperation, provides peer mentorship, and is challenging for multiple skill levels. The players, coaches and spectators will find it fast, fun and engaging. Sabakiball increases endurance and sharpens athleticism. |

"Many years ago Sabakiball provided a set of equipment, and it is still in use today! I was stationed in Hawaii when you sent it. We played pretty regularly when I was stationed there, and the Marines loved it! In early 2016, I was transferred to the unit in Chattanooga, TN where the terrible terrorist attack from 7-16-15 occurred. Sabakiball was great for them as well. I retired in Aug 2018 after 23 years of service, and the equipment is with the unit here in Chattanooga. I still show up from time to time when possible to PT with them when they do sports. That one set of gear has provided hundreds of hours of fun, fitness, camaraderie, and community engagement. Our vision is to be as prolific in professional sports and world-wide competition as other traditional sports such as soccer, baseball and football. In the beginning, Sabakiball's creator had the foresight to create a new sport that blended the excitement of traditional sports with new elements that address the gaps in established sports such as gender equality, concussion prevention, team work and fair play.
