Testimonials
Although it is not possible to list ALL of the testimonials we have received from schools here on this page, Sabakiball International would like to thank the many, many schools and youth organizations who have participated in the sport of Sabakiball in clubs, clinics, and P.E. classes. Because of their dedication to the health and wellness of children and adults in their communities, Sabakiball is being played by more than one million children and adults across the United States and Canada! Here are a few select testimonials:
Husson University, Maine
"I found Sabakiball on the AAHPERD national convention list and visited your website. We tried the game and loved the game, and it will be a great addition to the PE classes in Maine. Hopefully there will be much growth and interest to expand the game including tournaments, open gym play, recreation departments offering it as another sport, etc. and my students (future PE teachers) have volunteered to teach and referee the game in the schools they visit for clinical experience and student teaching."

"I wanted to send you a quick email to let you know...absolutely LOVED Sabakiball. They could not stop taking about it!"

Esperanza Middle School, Maryland
"Hi Michael, I just wanted to let you know that I have been teaching your game and you are on to something good here. The amount of vigorous activity is great and I have noticed that my "not so active" classes are even excited about the game. My students are leaving the gym sweaty and happy, wanting to play next class. Several have said it's the best game they ever played."

Cherokee Elementary, Arizona
"We played Sabakiball for four weeks, and I played with all of my grades, K-5. (The little ones struggled but still had a great time.) The students loved it! I have never seen them this excited about any game in PE... I have had a ton of parents talk to me about, “This new game in PE.” I was also amazed at the level of play of my older students. By the end, they looked like they had been playing it for years. What I really liked about Sabakiball was that the students that normally are not very active, enjoyed it. I broke the classes down into squads, two or three depending on how big the class was and had them play two minute shifts. I put the best athletes in the first squads and the less-athletic students (who normally take a back seat and stand around and watch) in the second and third squads. The lesser athletic students were out there taking charge, running, having a great time. That one factor alone should make every PE teacher want to include Sabakiball in their curriculum. I should be in a commercial for you!!"

"I absolutely LOVE Sabakiball! In 2010 I was doing my student teaching at San Tan Jr High in Chandler. And I was taught the game there by the PE teacher/my mentor. I was in awe of the game. That year I graduated and I was hired in the Queen Creek Unified School District. In the past four years I have worked at the middle school, junior high, and now the elementary school in our district. I even have my Kindergarten kids playing. Pretty funny. But you have to start them off early right? Every school I've been to, I've taught my students about Sabakiball. My junior high kids, especially the girls, were begging me to teach a sabakiball club after school. Every week the only game they wanted to play was sabaki ball. At one point we played three weeks in a row (in class) and I told them 'We can't play sabakiball every week... We need to learn about other things too.' And all they cried for was sabakiball."
